LYONS, NY — The New York State Police arrested Rebecca E. Plyter, 40, of Macedon following an investigation into a reported disturbance.
State police from SP Lyons responded to a report of a disturbance on Water Street on Dec. 22.
According to investigators, Plyter was involved in a confrontation related to a motor vehicle incident.
Police allege she approached another individual while operating a battery-powered saw, causing the victim to fear serious physical injury.
Plyter was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a D felony.
She was also charged with menacing in the second degree, an A misdemeanor.
Additional charges are aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unsafe backing of a vehicle.
She was processed at SP Lyons and transported to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment.
