FLORHAM PARK, NJ — Two suspects with connections to Florham Park were arrested as part of a large-scale takedown of a criminal organization involved in weapons trafficking, drug distribution and shootings.
The arrests occurred on Dec. 4 as part of a coordinated operation by the U.S. Department of Justice and multiple law enforcement agencies.
The Florham Park Police Department and Office of Emergency Management assisted in executing arrest and search warrants at residences connected to the suspects in Florham Park.
The operation involved the simultaneous execution of dozens of warrants targeting members of the criminal organization.
The investigation focused on violent criminal activity including illegal weapons possession, drug trafficking and shooting incidents.
The suspects were taken into custody as part of the multi-agency effort.
