Man arrested on multiple charges in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE, VT — A Lyndon man faces multiple charges after allegedly contacting a person in violation of court-ordered conditions of release.

David Goodwin, 21, was arrested Dec. 22 by Officer Renaudette of the Lyndonville Police Department.

Police said Goodwin electronically contacted a person multiple times in violation of active court-ordered conditions of release.

The victim was also a witness in a pending criminal matter involving both parties, according to police.

Police said the course of contact caused emotional distress or fear.

Goodwin was charged with nine counts of violation of conditions of release, felony obstruction of justice and stalking.

He was held at the Lyndonville Police Department before being issued conditions by the court.

Goodwin was lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or surety.
