JAMESTOWN, NY — Police arrested a man early Saturday after he allegedly kicked in a door on the city’s north side.
Officers responded to a residence at approximately 3:17 a.m. on Dec. 13 for a report of an unwanted male attempting to kick in a door.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female victim who reported that the suspect had kicked her door, causing a panel to break.
Jouseph Velazquez, 24, of Jamestown, was still at the scene when officers arrived.
Velazquez was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Velazquez is being held pending arraignment.
