HALFMOON, NY — A man was arrested Tuesday on felony burglary and criminal mischief charges following an investigation into a break-in at a Route 9 restaurant.
Mack Murray III, 30, of Albany, was charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony, third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an inactive burglary call on Dec. 6 at 1525 U.S. Route 9.
Murray is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully within the restaurant with intent to commit a crime.
He is also charged with smashing a glass door valued in excess of $250 to gain access to the building and stealing money from the business.
Murray was arraigned before the Honorable Joseph V. Fodera in Halfmoon Town Court and released to pretrial services pending further proceedings.
