WEST BRIDGEWATER, MA — West Bridgewater Police Detectives from the W.E.B. Task Force, in conjunction with local and state law enforcement partners, arrested a West Bridgewater man on drug charges Thursday following a month-long investigation.

Jordan Fisher, 38, of West Bridgewater, was charged with trafficking in 200 grams or more of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug and possession of a Class B drug.

On Thursday at about 7:30 a.m., detectives from the local W.E.B. Task Force, with assistance from the Halifax Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit Brockton and Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation, executed search warrants at Fisher’s home and on both of his vehicles.

During a search of Fisher’s vehicle, detectives allegedly found and seized approximately 298 grams of a white powdery substance in brick form determined to be cocaine, 50 grams of a white rock-like substance identified as crack cocaine, about $1,587 in cash and drug paraphernalia and packing materials, including a scale.

Fisher was taken into custody without incident and was taken to the West Bridgewater Police Department to be booked.

The investigation began when police received information that Fisher was allegedly selling crack cocaine and making drug deliveries in his vehicle.

During a subsequent investigation, detectives developed probable cause that Fisher was involved in narcotics distribution and were able to obtain search warrants for his home and vehicle.

Fisher was arraigned Thursday in Brockton District Court.

He was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on Tuesday.

The W.E.B. Major Crimes and Drug Task Force consists of detectives from the Whitman, West Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, Bridgewater and Bridgewater State University Police Departments.
