Man arrested on domestic charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Police arrested a man accused of violating two orders of protection during a domestic dispute on the city’s west side.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 1st Platoon responded to a residence at approximately 1:21 p.m. Dec. 3 for a domestic dispute in progress.

Police found William D. Dunlap, 60, of Jamestown, hiding under a bed inside a bedroom.

Dunlap was found to be in violation of two active orders of protection that required him to stay away from two separate female victims present at the residence.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Dunlap was charged with two counts of criminal contempt in the second degree and is held pending arraignment.
