Man arraigned on burglary charge in Guilderland

GUILDERLAND, NY — A Washington, D.C., man was arraigned on Nov. 20 following an indictment out of Albany County in connection with a burglary at Lola Saratoga.

Christopher Tyler, 24, of Washington, D.C., has been indicted on charges of burglary in the 3rd degree, grand larceny in the 4th degree, and two counts of criminal mischief in the second degree.

The charges stem from a burglary that occurred at 1475 Western Ave. on July 23, 2024, at around 12:43 a.m.

A preliminary investigation revealed three male suspects had smashed the front store window, making entry into the store and stealing merchandise.

The suspects fled in a newer model, white Honda SUV.

A pending court date for Tyler has been scheduled.

The Albany County District Attorney’s Office is prosecuting this case.
