Man arrested on larceny, order of protection violation charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers responded to a southside address for a reported larceny and order of protection violation at approximately 12:15 p.m. Dec. 1.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that Matthew L. Brown stole a speaker from her and violated an order of protection.

Officers located Brown a short distance away and he was taken into custody without incident.

Brown was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment on charges of criminal contempt in the second degree and petit larceny.
