MANCHESTER, CT — A woman was arrested on a larceny charge at a Buckland Hills Drive store Friday afternoon.
Janice L. Shepard, 39, of East Hartford, was taken into custody at 4:14 p.m. at Target, 125 Buckland Hills Drive, after store employees reported a shoplifter in custody.
Police said Shepard stole $492.75 worth of merchandise.
Shepard was issued a misdemeanor summons and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 17 at 9 a.m.
