BRISTOL, CT — A driver died after crashing into a utility pole on Battle Street at James P. Casey Road on Friday night.
Bristol Police were dispatched to the scene at 9:37 p.m. for a report of a one-vehicle crash.
Officers found an unresponsive adult male driver who had been ejected from the vehicle.
Officers began lifesaving measures until emergency medical services arrived and took over.
EMS personnel transported the driver to Bristol Health, where he was pronounced dead.
The Bristol Police Department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team responded to process the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
