ALBANY — Albany Fire Department and Craftsbury Fire Department responded to a structure fire this afternoon at 2958 Vermont Route 14 in Albany.
The departments were dispatched at approximately 2:30 p.m. to a tool shed fire about 100 feet from a residence.
Dispatchers advised no one was inside the shed and there were no injuries.
The fire was possibly related to a propane heater inside the shed, according to dispatch reports.
Responding personnel were warned that a small propane tank had been placed outside the burning structure.
The structure was engulfed by heavy smoke. The roadway in front of the incident was reduced to one lane as fire crews battled the blaze.
