HAMILTON, NJ — Township of Hamilton Police arrested a Pleasantville man after he became trapped inside a vehicle he was allegedly attempting to burglarize on Nov. 20.
Officers responded at approximately 8:29 p.m. to the area of Longhorn Steakhouse for a report of a car burglary in progress.
The vehicle’s owner told police he saw an unknown man sitting inside his vehicle.
The suspect, identified as Jeison Henriquez Sanchez, 19, of Pleasantville, was trapped in the vehicle because of faulty doors that could only be opened from the outside.
Police were able to release Sanchez and took him into custody without incident.
He was charged with burglary and lodged at the Atlantic County Justice Facility on unrelated charges.
