String of vehicle vandalisms reported across Orleans County

BARTON — Vermont State Police are investigating five similar vehicle vandalism incidents reported Wednesday morning across Orleans County.

The vandalisms occurred overnight between 10 p.m. on November 18, and 6:30 a.m. on November 19. All involved rocks being thrown through one or more vehicle windows.

State police received the first report at approximately 7:43 a.m. on November 19 of a vandalized vehicle parked in a driveway on Glover Road in Barton. Four additional similar incidents were reported the same morning.

Two vandalisms occurred in the village of Orleans, one on Irasburg Street and another on Water Street. Three occurred in the village of Barton, on Church Street, High Street and Glover Road.

Similar vandalisms were also reported in Newport City the same day.
