FITCHBURG, MA — Police arrested four people on illegal firearm charges following a joint operation between the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Drug Suppression Unit and the Patrol Division.
The arrests were made Monday as part of a focused effort to target individuals involved in the possession or use of illegal firearms, according to police.
Four illegal firearms were seized during the operation.
Police did not release the names of those arrested or additional details about the circumstances of the arrests.
