JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested following a domestic incident on the north side of the city Sunday evening.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a residence at approximately 6 p.m. for a reported domestic incident.
Upon arrival, officers learned that Vincent A. Jones had cut a female victim with a broken kitchen plate, causing a laceration.
Jones was placed into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
He is being charged with assault in the second degree and is being held pending arraignment.
