SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — A judge has ordered a Keansburg man to remain in jail pending trial on murder and assault charges.
Emiliano Davila, 41, of Keansburg, will be held at the Ocean County Jail on charges of murder and domestic violence aggravated assault by strangulation, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced Friday.
The charges stem from an incident on Nov. 3 in Seaside Heights.
Mary O’Connor, 32, of Seaside Heights, died Nov. 5 from injuries sustained in the incident.
Superior Court Judge Dina M. Vicari ordered Davila detained Friday.
Supervising Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Meghan O’Neill handled the detention hearing.
