JAMESTOWN, NY — A traffic stop at the intersection of Forest Avenue and South Avenue led to the arrest of a local man on Nov. 8.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon conducted the stop at approximately 7:50 a.m.
During the investigation, officers determined that the driver, Daniel Garcia, 55, of Jamestown, had his New York State driving privileges revoked.
Garcia was also the subject of several active arrest warrants issued by the Jamestown City Court.
Garcia was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
He was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, a felony, in addition to the outstanding warrants.
He was also issued multiple uniform traffic tickets.
Garcia is currently being held at the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
