Man arrested on domestic, drug charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested early Monday after police responded to a domestic dispute on the city’s west side.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon were called to the address at 2:01 a.m. Nov. 10.

An investigation revealed that Kedrin D. Murphy violated four stay-away orders of protection.

Murphy also had an active warrant for violating the same four orders of protection.

Police said Murphy was found in possession of cocaine.

Murphy was arrested without incident and is being held in the Jamestown City Jail.

He is charged with four counts of criminal contempt in the second degree, criminal trespass in the second degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
