CLIFTON PARK, NY — The Sheriff’s Office conducted a vehicle stop Sunday at 1:23 a.m. on Interstate 87 in the town of Clifton Park for moving violations.
A subsequent investigation led to the stop resulted in the arrest of the below person for criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree (class C felony), criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree (class A misdemeanor), DWI, operating a motor vehicle with blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater (unclassified misdemeanors), moving from lane unsafely and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle (violations).
Christian Hernandez, 26, of Glens Falls was accused of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition and with a BAC of 0.10%.
He is also charged with possessing a loaded firearm, failing to operate his vehicle as near as practicable initially within a single lane and operating a motor vehicle without being duly licensed to do so.
He was arraigned before the Honorable Steven L. Brown in the Clifton Park Town Court and released on his own recognizance pending further proceedings in the Clifton Park Town Court.
