FORT EDWARD, NY — State Police arrested a South Glens Falls man on two counts of third-degree rape on Oct. 16.
Daquan T. Hayes, 22, of South Glens Falls, was taken into custody following an investigation that began in June.
Troopers received information on June 13 reporting inappropriate sexual contact between an adult man and a minor.
The investigation determined Hayes allegedly had sexual contact with a child under the age of 17 while in Corinth in June.
Hayes was arrested in Fort Edward and transported to State Police barracks in Wilton for processing.
He was arraigned at Corinth Town Court, where he was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility.
Bail was set at $20,000 cash, $40,000 bond, or a $200,000 partially secured bond.
