NEWPORT — The annual Drop and Shop returns this month after being canceled last year due to PCB mitigation efforts at North Country Union High School.
The event, hosted by SkillsUSA, will take place October 24-25 at North Country Union High School’s gymnasium.

Drop-off begins Friday, October 24, at 8:30 a.m. in the student parking lot, where student volunteers will assist with clothing donations.
Friday is strictly for drop-offs, not shopping, with donations accepted until 6 p.m. Shoes and undergarments are not accepted.
Shopping takes place Saturday, October 25, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shoppers should bring their own bags.
The event is open to all community members. While clothing donations are welcomed, they are not required to shop. Monetary donations will support the local SkillsUSA chapter.
