Man arrested on warrants during traffic stop in Belvidere

BELVIDERE — A trooper from the Williston Barracks was conducting stationary radar speed enforcement on Vermont Route 118 near the Montgomery town line at approximately 6:17 p.m. Oct. 2.

A vehicle was observed traveling 72 mph in a posted 50 mph zone.

A traffic stop was initiated and the operator was identified as Trevor Patch, 31, of Richford.

An NCIC query found that Patch had a warrant out of Lamoille County for grand larceny and a warrant out of Franklin County for leaving the scene of an accident.

He was arrested and transported to Northwest Correctional Center and lodged on $200 bail.

Patch was issued a citation to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court on Oct. 2 at 12:30 p.m. and a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Oct. 2 at 1 p.m.
