Everett police make multiple drug arrests in regional operation

EVERETT — The Everett Police Department announced several narcotic-related arrests following a series of operations conducted between Sept. 24 and Sept. 29.

On Sept. 24, members of the Everett Police Special Criminal Investigations Unit and the Lynn Police Drug Task Force executed search warrants at an address in Lynn.

Wanderley Ynoa-Molina and Alexander Morel Encarnacion, both of Lynn, were arrested and charged with various narcotic-related offenses by the Lynn Police Department.

Officers seized approximately 375 grams of fentanyl, approximately 200 grams of cocaine and approximately 60 grams of methamphetamine, along with drug processing equipment.

On Sept. 25, Everett K9 handler Rizza and K9 Cooper assisted Massachusetts State Police with a drug search of a motor vehicle.

K9 Cooper indicated an area behind the dashboard where officers found an illegal hidden compartment containing heroin, fentanyl and crack.

One individual was arrested and booked at the Revere State Police Barracks.

On Sept. 26, the Everett Police Department Special Criminal Investigations Unit worked with Winthrop and Revere police departments to execute arrest and search warrants at an address in Everett.

The target of the investigation attempted to flee by driving into an unmarked police vehicle but was taken into custody without further incident.

Michael Diaz of Everett was arrested on five outstanding warrants from East Boston District Court for selling narcotics to an undercover officer.

Diaz also faces charges including possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and fentanyl, and trafficking crack cocaine and fentanyl over 36 grams.

On Sept. 29, Everett Police Special Criminal Investigations Unit members and the North Metro SWAT team executed search warrants at a residential location in Everett.

One individual was summoned to Malden Court for various drug possession charges.

Kerlin Aubourg of Everett was arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine.
