CLIFTON PARK — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint Friday at 3:09 a.m. on Grooms Road.
Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of two people for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony.
Nicole M. Brennan, 49, of Waterford was arrested on the charge.
Christina M. Sharps, 37, of Waterford was also arrested on the charge.
Both are accused of knowingly and unlawfully possessing cocaine that weighed 500 milligrams or more.
Brennan was released on an appearance ticket pending further proceedings.
Sharps was arraigned before the Honorable Robert A. Rybak in the Clifton Park Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
