JAMESTOWN — Officers responded to a south side address at 6:12 p.m. Sept. 6 for a reported disorderly person.
Police spoke with the victim upon arrival.
Investigation revealed that Cassandra R. Peru, 34, threatened the victim with a knife during a domestic dispute.
Officers attempted to place Peru into custody, but she began pulling away from them.
After a brief struggle, Peru was taken into custody without further incident.
She was transported to Jamestown City Jail where she was charged with menacing in the second degree and resisting arrest.
Peru was held pending her arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
