LOWELL — Police seized marijuana, weapons and cash while executing a search warrant in the Lower Highlands neighborhood Thursday.
Gang Unit officers and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Bureau conducted the search, according to the Lowell Police Department.
Officers seized an UZI submachine gun, a polymer 80 handgun, ammunition and cash in addition to the marijuana.
A 27-year-old male is being charged with possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.
