ATTICA — On August 28 at 2:30 p.m., troopers from SP Warsaw responded to a one-car vehicle collision on East Main in the town of Attica.
An investigation determined that a 2020 Ram pickup was traveling eastbound on East Main near the intersection of Chaddock Road.
The Ram traveled onto the south shoulder of the roadway and entered the ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The operator, Michael R. Sheffield, 56, of Wyoming, was pronounced deceased at the scene after EMS personnel attempted life-saving measures.
An autopsy has been scheduled at Monroe County Medical Center.
The incident remains under investigation.
