LIMA — Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of a woman on felony charges following an investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 28 at approximately 6:38 p.m., Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a business on Rochester St. in the Village of Lima for the report of stolen credit card that had occurred around April 22.
Sheriff’s Investigators began an investigation into the Grand Larceny of the credit card and purchases that had been made to the account after the theft.
Through the investigation, a suspect was identified as 41-year-old Wendy Northrop from the Town of Medina.
On Aug. 26, Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Northrop and charged her with two counts of felony Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and felony Identity Theft in the Second Degree.
Northrop was transported to the Livingston County Jail, where she was turned over to Central Booking Deputies for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
