LOWELL — A 19-year-old man was arrested on firearms charges Tuesday after police seized a weapon during a traffic stop in the Lower Belvidere neighborhood.
Lowell Police Department Gang Unit officers conducted the motor vehicle stop on Aug. 27.
The man was charged with carrying a firearm while loaded, carrying a firearm without a license and unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device.
The suspect’s name was not immediately released.
