LOWELL — A 33-year-old man was arrested on drug trafficking charges following a motor vehicle stop by Lowell Police Department Special Investigations Section detectives on Aug. 21.
The man was charged with trafficking fentanyl over 18 grams and illegal possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute.
Police seized narcotics during the traffic stop but did not specify the exact quantities recovered.
The suspect’s name was not immediately released by authorities.
