HIGHGATE — Vermont State Police arrested a Massachusetts man on a fugitive warrant at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Port of Entry on Aug. 17.
Masseye Dabo, 49, of Medford, Mass., was taken into custody at approximately 3:41 p.m. after CBP officers discovered he had an active warrant.
CBP contacted Vermont State Police after detaining Dabo during routine processing at the border crossing.
Investigation revealed Dabo had an extraditable warrant from Manchester, N.H., for robbery, a Class B felony under New Hampshire law.
Dabo was charged with fugitive from justice and held on $5,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Aug. 18 at 1 p.m.
