WEATHERSFIELD — A Reading man was arrested on a DUI charge following a motor vehicle crash Wednesday night.
Deputy Craig Watrous of the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department responded to the crash at approximately 10:27 p.m. in the area of 5590 Vermont Route 131.
The driver was identified as Edwin P. Royce, 35, of Reading.
Deputy Watrous observed signs of impairment during his investigation.
Royce was arrested for DUI following the investigation.
He was transported to the Windsor Police Department for processing.
Royce was released to a sober adult.
Officer Justin Abualjadail of the Windsor Police Department assisted in the case.
Royce is scheduled to appear in Windsor court on Sept. 2 at 8:30 a.m.
