Craftsbury Community Care Center to celebrate 30 years with ice cream social

CRAFTSBURY — The Craftsbury Community Care Center will celebrate its 30th anniversary with an ice cream social and pie auction on August 28, to honor three decades of caring for community members.

The celebration will feature free ice cream and a pie auction hosted by Justin Lander, along with individual homemade pie slices for sale.

The event, which runs from 5-8 p.m., aims to bring together community members to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and honor those who have supported the care center throughout its history.

The ice cream social with music is from 5-6 p.m., with the auction starting at 6 and running until 7:30 p.m.

The Care Center has provided care for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends in the community for 30 years, emphasizing compassion and affordability.

Organizers note the facility was built by the community and continues to thrive through ongoing support.

The anniversary celebration will recognize the center’s commitment to caring for everyone regardless of income level.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the pie auction while celebrating the milestone and supporting the center’s future.

The event highlights 30 years of kindness, community and care made possible by community support and dedication.
