Warren man cited after woman shot in leg

WARREN — Troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks were notified of an individual with a gunshot wound at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph on Aug. 12 at approximately 8:25 p.m.

Troopers responded to the hospital and made contact with the victim, Haley Robinson, 31, of Warren.

Investigation determined that George Morris, 33, of Warren, was handling a firearm in a reckless manner on Robinson Road, leading to the firearm discharging and striking Robinson in the leg.

Morris was issued a criminal citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court-Criminal Division at a later date to answer to a charge of reckless endangerment.
