ST. JOHNSBURY — A 32-year-old St. Johnsbury man was arrested Monday evening for violating his conditions of release.
Cooper Murphy was taken into custody at approximately 8:15 p.m. after Vermont State Police troopers on routine patrol observed him violating his release conditions.
Further investigation revealed Murphy had violated multiple conditions of release, police said.
Murphy was transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court Criminal Division on Aug. 12 at 12:30 p.m.
Murphy was held at the Northeastern Correctional Complex on $500 bail.
