LYNDONVILLE — A Lyndonville Police Department patrol officer stopped a motor vehicle on East Burke Road for a speed violation at about 8:34 p.m. on Aug. 8.
Further investigation revealed the motorist, identified as Timothy Colby, 38, of Lyndon, displayed signs of impairment by alcohol.
Colby was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, second offense.
After processing at the St. Johnsbury Police Department, Colby was released to a sober family member.
He was cited to appear in Caledonia Superior Court for arraignment on Aug. 25 at 8:30 a.m.
