MANCHESTER — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old girl.
Ciana Valdez was last seen leaving her home in Manchester with a friend on Aug. 1.
She was wearing a red shirt and red pants at the time.
Valdez has been in daily contact with family but has not disclosed her location, though she may be in Hartford.
She is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 85 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

A Silver Alert has been issued for Valdez.
