HIGHGATE — A South Burlington man was arrested for his third DUI offense at the Interstate 89 port of entry Thursday night.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police – St. Albans Barracks responded to the border crossing around 8:54 p.m. after Canadian customs agents reported signs of impairment in a driver.
The operator was identified as Kevin Greene, 49, of South Burlington.
Troopers observed signs of impairment during their interaction with him.
Greene was arrested for driving under the influence following an investigation.
He was transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Criminal Court on Sept. 8 at 8:30 a.m.
