BATAVIA — Police arrested 11 people on charges ranging from criminal mischief to drug possession between July 18 and July 29, according to a press release issued Aug. 3.
Zakara R. Jackson, 21, of Batavia, was arrested July 27 for criminal mischief in the fourth degree and harassment in the second degree.
Jackson was charged after she allegedly was involved in a physical altercation on Maple Street where she allegedly damaged property.
She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
Lisa R. Richmond, 37, of Batavia, was arrested July 28 for criminal mischief in the fourth degree.
Richmond is alleged to have damaged a wooden fence on Ellicott Avenue.
She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
Cameron J. Sokolowski, 33, of Batavia, was arrested July 28 on a bench warrant for driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Sokolowski was arraigned in Batavia City Court and held on bail.
Ethan S. Howe, 21, of LeRoy, was arrested July 29 on an arrest warrant for obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
Howe was charged June 17 when he attempted to run from police who were investigating an incident on East Main Street.
The warrant was issued when Howe failed to appear in court.
He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.
Kim M. Mobley, 62, of Batavia, was arrested July 27 for petit larceny.
It’s alleged that Mobley stole merchandise from Quicklee’s.
Mobley was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for petit larceny.
She was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
Nashiem R. Harris, 26, of Batavia, was arrested July 23 on an arrest warrant.
The warrant stems from a traffic stop June 18 when Harris was issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket.
The warrant was issued after Harris failed to appear in court.
He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
Monica M. Bailey, 42, and Dennis J. Calkins, 45, both of Albion, were arrested July 18 on arrest warrants for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
The charges stem from a traffic stop on Liberty Street on Sept. 26, 2024, when Bailey and Calkins were allegedly found in possession of narcotics.
They were arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.
Rachel A. Baehr, 38, of Piffard, was arrested July 25 on a bench warrant.
Baehr was initially charged May 30, 2024, for petit larceny after allegedly stealing a dog.
The warrant was issued after she failed to appear in court.
Baehr was arraigned in CAP Court.
Michael J. Hilton, 34, of Byron, was arrested July 26 on two warrants, both for petit larceny.
The first warrant stems from an incident Feb. 26 when Hilton allegedly stole merchandise from 7-Eleven.
The second warrant is related to an incident June 17 when he allegedly stole merchandise from Quicklee’s.
He was arraigned in CAP Court.
Jill M. Turner, 43, of Batavia, was charged July 25 with allowing her dog to run at large.
Turner was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on Aug. 5.
