LYNDONVILLE — A 35-year-old store manager was arrested Saturday morning on charges of embezzling approximately $4,000 from a local convenience store.
Michaela N. Dubois of Lyndon was charged with two counts of embezzlement over $100 and two counts of grand larceny, according to the Lyndonville Police Department.
Police received a complaint at 9:15 a.m. from a Jiffy Mart corporate officer alleging that the store’s general manager had embezzled bank deposits.
The complaint also involved falsified bank receipts, police said.
Dubois was cited to appear in Caledonia Superior Court for arraignment on Sept. 15 at 8:30 a.m.
