3 vehicles crash on West Seneca Turnpike in Marcellus

MARCELLUS — The Marcellus Fire Department responded to a three-vehicle crash on West Seneca Turnpike at 7:26 p.m. Monday.

The accident occurred between Frank Gay Road and Sage Meadows Drive.

Marcellus Rescue 1, Car 1, Car 3 and Fire Police units responded to the scene.

Five patients required medical evaluation following the crash.

Command requested an additional ambulance due to the number of patients involved.

Assistant Chief Mayers operated Rescue 1, while Chief Rothery and Assistant Chief McNally operated Car 1 and Car 3 respectively.

Rescue 1 crews assisted Marcellus Ambulance with patient care and addressed traffic hazards.

Fire personnel also handled traffic control at the scene.
