Man cited for retail theft at flower shop in Franklin

FRANKLIN — Vermont State Police received a report of retail theft at Franklin Flower Company on July 21 at approximately 9:41 a.m.

The incident occurred at the business located at the corner of Riley Road and Vermont Route 120.

Police determined that John Tatro, 41, of Sheldon, entered the store and took merchandise without paying.

After an investigation, troopers located Tatro and issued him a criminal citation.

Tatro is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Sept. 8 at 8:30 a.m. on the retail theft charge.
