WARWICK — Rhode Island State Police arrested a 55-year-old Providence man on multiple charges including driving under the influence following a motor vehicle accident on Route 95 South.
Robert Frye of 274 Hartford Avenue was taken into custody at 6:24 p.m. Monday after troopers responded to the crash.
Frye faces charges of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor, second offense; refusal to submit to a chemical test; driving with an expired or without a license, fourth or subsequent offense; disorderly conduct; and destruction of state property.
He was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held for morning arraignment at Third District Court as a probation violator.
