WAITSFIELD — A 46-year-old woman who called police to report a family fight was arrested on domestic assault charges Friday morning.
Riley Lush contacted Vermont State Police at 8:43 a.m. to report the incident on Verd Mont Road in Waitsfield.
Troopers responded to the scene and conducted an investigation.
Police determined that Lush had assaulted a household member.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
Lush faces charges of first degree aggravated domestic assault, domestic assault and criminal threatening.
She is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court Friday at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Vermont State Police does not release the names of domestic violence victims.
