HARTFORD — A Dover, N.H., man was arrested for DUI refusal Tuesday evening after a state trooper observed his truck speeding and driving erratically on Interstate 89.
Russell Halvorsen, 33, was stopped around 7:32 p.m. at mile marker 6.6 on I-89 South after a trooper from the Royalton barracks observed the vehicle failing to maintain its lane.
Further investigation revealed Halvorsen was impaired, according to Vermont State Police.
Halvorsen was arrested and brought to the Royalton state police barracks for processing.
He was released on a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on July 29 at 8:30 a.m.
