ROSENDALE — The Rosendale Police Department reports the arrest of Todd W. Cantwell, age 53, of Saugerties, N.Y. on May 28.
Officers responded to a 911 call of an erratic driver on Lucas Avenue.
The driver had fled from the scene of an assault on Lucas Avenue in the Town of Ulster.
Cantwell was stopped after a pursuit in the Town of Rosendale and was charged with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor; Reckless Driving, a misdemeanor; Speed in Zone, Failed to Keep Right, Failing to Stop at a Stop Sign, all violations.
Cantwell was released on an Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Rosendale Court at a later date.
