PENN YAN — Penn Yan Police arrested Tino M. Rivas, 52, of Penn Yan on an arrest warrant from the City of Elmira.
Police were aware that Rivas had an active superior court warrant from the City of Elmira for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree.
Officers located Rivas at a housing complex in the village.
Rivas was apprehended on the warrant and transported to the Penn Yan Police Department for processing.
Penn Yan Police then transported Rivas to a meeting location where he was turned over to the Elmira Police Department.
