WHITINGHAM — A 27-year-old man from Wilmington was arrested following an incident in Whitingham yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle in a ditch that had struck a mailbox on Wilmington Cross Road at around 8:00 p.m.
The driver was identified as Craig Green who was located at his home.
Troopers spoke with Green who displayed signs of impairment.
He was arrested and transported to Wilmington Police Department for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in court on October 3 to answer to the charges of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
Police were assisted by the Wilmington Police Department.
