Motorcycle crash in Albany

ALBANY — A 22-year-old man from Irasburg was involved in a motorcycle crash in Albany on Sunday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 14 at around 5:45 p.m.

Police say they met with the driver who was driven to North Country Hospital in a private vehicle.

The driver was identified as Kyle Doherty.

According to the report, Doherty was traveling south when he lost control of his motorcycle and traveled off the road.

He sustained minor non-life-threatening injuries.

Doherty’s license to operate a motor vehicle was criminally suspended, police say.

He was issued a citation for the offense while at the hospital.
